Hike Discovery Quests and more

Explore the beautiful unique natural environment of the Hudson Valley by hiking the wetlands, open fileds and forests of the award-winning Discovery Quests of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum.

Interact with nature as never before through our guidebooks, created specifically for each of the 4 Discovery Quests. Identify plantlife and animallife, throughout your Discovery Quest, to discover the hidden message at the end of your hike.

As a center for nature with a focus on environmental education and a mission to develop responsible caretakers of the natural world, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum offers a wide range of activities and exhibits. Our indoor Wildlife Education Center will introduce you and your family to animals you will find nowhere else, and our facilities will provide you with:

  • Summer Camp Programs
  • Young Naturalist Pre-K Program
