The World of Bees

Learn about the fascinating life cycle of the honeybee, its colony structure, social hierarchy and importance to our own lives.
This new and exciting exhibit in the Ogden Gallery at the Wildlife Education Center features a live colony of honeybees in a thriving observation hive with many exciting interactive elements.

The Wildlife Education Center is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm with Meet the Animals at 2:30pm on Saturday and Sundays.
Admission is $3. Museum Members are free.

The Living Hudson Exhibit
A multi-sensory experience full of the flora and fauna native to the Hudson Estuary. Follow the journey as water trickles down a highland creek into a wetland pond. The pond empties into a freshwater stream which then joins the Hudson River Estuary.
Cost: $3 Members are free.
The Reptiles and Amphibians of the Hudson Highlands
This fascinating and interactive exhibit introduces the reptiles and amphibians that live in the Hudson Highlands. Learn about the life cycles, diets, habitats and incredible adaptations of these secretive animals.
Cost: $3. Members are free
